All of Electric Gate Store Ltd prices listed are shown inclusive of VAT and are believed to be correct at time of going to website. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. All orders placed online include delivery to mainland UK addresses only and we reserve the right to increase delivery charges should a delivery outside mainland UK arise. All orders placed outside the UK and Eire to be paid by BACS (Electronic Bank Transfer). The Electric Gate Store Ltd bank details are available on request.
All goods remain the property of the Electric Gate Store Ltd until payment is received in full and funds are cleared.
If no instructions are received from the customer, goods will be dispatched via our normal courier to the address given on the customer order. Due to the value of the goods they must be checked and signed for by the customer unless otherwise stated. By signing for the automation goods on inspection and not stating damaged, disentitles the customer from any claim for damage to the goods in transit. "Unchecked" will not be accepted as a valid status.
Cost of Delivery
Standard delivery to mainland UK £12.00 plus VAT. Next day delivery to mainland UK £25.00 plus VAT.
Returns and Cancellations
Any items that need to be returned to the Electric Gate Store Ltd will only be accepted with a Returns form. The goods must be returned to us within 21 days from signed delivery. The goods must be returned complete i.e. within the original box, not having been installed and with fixing kits and instructions. A minimum handling charge of 20% will be made for goods returned for credit and subject to our discretion.
Consumers have a statutory right to return goods within 14 days of the delivery date. A full refund will be given within 30 days. The cost of such returned goods will be at the expense of the consumer.
Note: The Electric Gate Store accepts no responsibility for equipment recommended. The final decision on equipment ordered must be dependent upon a site survey and risk assessment carried out by an experienced gate engineer.
All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
We advise that all products listed on this website should be installed by a qualified engineer. If you need an engineer, please contact us to see if we can recommend anyone in your area.
The Electric Gate Store Ltd does not accept any liability for any suggestions of equipment given by its staff. Any decision for equipment ordered must be based upon the customer's own site survey and risk assessment.
The Electric Gate Store Ltd recommends that all installation locations should be surveyed and risk assessed on their individual merits, and all factors regarding Health & Safety issues be duly considered, prior to installation. Additionally and at all times, quotations, information, guidance or suggestions given by the Electric Gate Store Ltd are offered in good faith, but we would recommend that at all times relevant risk assessment is undertaken, as above, to ensure that any installation of automation equipment and accessories meets the requirements of all relevant industry standards and recommendations currently in force, including in particular at the time of writing, BS EN 12453, BS EN 12445 and BS EN13241-1.
Final installation of equipment is always and in all cases the responsibility of the installer, and a qualified installer must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and advice at all times. Installation advice and drawings produced by The Electric Gate Shop Ltd are given in good faith and must be checked directly with the manufacturer during installation by the approved installer. The Electric Gate Store Ltd accept no responsibility or liability if our advice is subsequently found to be incorrect, but we will always liaise with the installer and manufacturer to minimise installation problems.
Customers should satisfy themselves that the purchase of materials from the Electric Gate Store Ltd are suitable and adequate for the project being undertaken, and meet the requirements of both their customer and comply with recommended industry accepted standards. In as much that we have no control over the final use to which goods supplied by the Electric Gate Store Ltd are put, we therefore are unable to warrant that the goods will be suitable for any particular purpose.
