BFT P4.5 230V Hydraulic Single Swing Gate Kit

Description

The BFT P4.5 Single Kit is a 230V hydraulic swing gate automation kit designed for single gates up to 4.5m per leaf and up to 500kg. Built for very intensive use, it is particularly suited to commercial, industrial and other high-use swing gate installations.

The P4.5 uses BFT’s hydraulic drive system with a hydraulic clutch for accurate adjustment of the operating force. Hydraulic slowdown on closing provides smoother, quieter movement, particularly useful on larger and heavier gates.

The operator is non-locking, so an electric lock is required to secure the gate in the closed position. The P4.5 has a cycle time of approximately 28 seconds plus slowdown, a maximum opening angle of 123° and an IP55 protection rating.

This single-gate kit includes the BFT RIGEL 6 control panel and receiver, two Mitto transmitters, a pair of Compacta 180° safety photocells and a radio antenna.

Installer Note

The P4.5 is a non-locking hydraulic operator, so an electric lock should be allowed for when specifying the installation. For longer gates, BFT also offers the P7 hydraulic operator for leaves up to 7m.
