Delivery Information
All orders placed during the Christmas period (23rd December - 17:00 onwards) will be despatched on Tuesday 2nd January.
The Electric Gate Store Ltd aims to dispatch all orders within 1-2 days dependent on current stock availability.
Click & Collect from our offices or suppliers subject to availability and COVID restrictions.
Orders for next working day delivery must be received by 12.00 midday. Note: For orders placed on Friday next day delivery will be Monday. Deliveries are not made on Saturdays or Sundays. If you have a specific delivery request please contact us.
Due to the value of the goods they must be checked and signed for by the customer. By signing for the automation goods on inspection and not stating damaged, dis-entitles the customer from any claim for damage to the goods in transit. "Unchecked" will not be accepted as a valid status.
The customer must inspect the goods supplied immediately on receipt and notice of any loss or damage must be made within 24 hours of receipt.
Telguard intercom systems are custom built to order and may take up to three weeks for delivery.
Our Returns Policy
Any items that need to be returned to the The Electric Gate Store Ltd will only be accepted with a returns form. The goods must be returned to us within 28 days from signed delivery. The goods must be returned complete i.e. within the original box, not having been installed and with fixing kits and instructions. A minimum handling charge of 20% will be made for goods returned for credit and subject to our discretion. BFT restocking fee is 30%. Consumers have a statutory right to return goods within 28 days of the delivery date. The refund will be given within 30 days. The cost of such returned goods will be at the expense of the consumer.
Please note that all the safety edges are custom made to order and therefore cannot be returned.
Note: The Electric Gate Store accepts no responsibility for the equipment suggested. The final decision on the equipment ordered must be dependent upon a site survey and risk assessment carried out by an experienced gate engineer.
