BFT Sub Kit

Description

The BFT SUB Kit is a 230V hydraulic underground automation kit for a pair of swing gates up to 1.8m per leaf and weighing up to 800kg per leaf.

Designed for intensive use, the SUB is a heavy-duty underground operator suitable for residential, multi-residential and commercial swing gate installations. The motors are installed below ground in heavy-duty foundation boxes, keeping the automation concealed beneath the gates.

The standard SUB operator is hydraulically locking and can open a gate through 90° in approximately 17 seconds.

This complete double gate kit includes two BFT SUB hydraulic operators, two heavy-duty foundation boxes, RIGEL 6 control panel, two Mitto transmitters, safety photocells and antenna.

Installer Note

The 1.8m maximum leaf length applies to this standard SUB version. Other operators within the BFT SUB range are available for longer gate leaves and different opening requirements, so the correct SUB model should be selected for the application.

Gate weight, dimensions, construction, hinge position and wind loading should all be considered when specifying an underground operator.
