Description

The BFT LUX 2B R Kit is a 230V hydraulic swing gate automation kit designed for pairs of swing gates up to 2m wide and weighing up to 300kg per leaf.

Designed for very intensive use, the LUX 2B R combines hydraulic locking in both opening and closing with slowdown during the closing cycle. This provides secure gate positioning while reducing speed as the gates approach the closed position.

With a 17-second opening time to 90° and a maximum opening angle of 123°, the LUX 2B R is suited to demanding residential, multi-user, commercial and industrial swing gate installations.

Installer Note

The LUX 2B R combines hydraulic locking with slowdown, making it a useful option where controlled closing is required without moving to the longer-stroke LUX GV range.

Gate weight, leaf length, hinge geometry and wind loading should be checked when specifying the operator, particularly on solid or close-boarded gates.
