BFT LUX GVR 230V Hydraulic Double Swing Gate Kit with Slowdown

The BFT LUX GVR Kit is a 230V hydraulic swing gate automation kit designed for pairs of large swing gates up to 3.5m wide and weighing up to 300kg per leaf.

Designed for very intensive use, the LUX GVR is a long-stroke, non-locking hydraulic operator with slowdown on closing. This provides smoother gate movement as the leaves approach the closed position, particularly useful on larger and heavier gates.

The LUX GVR uses hydraulic clutch technology, with separate bypass valves allowing the opening and closing force to be adjusted independently. As this is a non-locking operator, an electric lock is required to secure the gates in the closed position.

The kit is controlled by the BFT RIGEL 6 control panel and is suited to demanding residential, multi-residential, commercial and industrial swing gate installations.

Installer Note

The BFT LUX GVR is non-locking, so an appropriate electric lock should be incorporated into the installation to secure the gates when closed.

Gate leaf width and weight should not be considered in isolation when specifying an operator. Gate construction, hinge geometry, wind loading and installation dimensions should also be checked before installation.
