Designed for very intensive use, the P7 is a powerful long-stroke hydraulic operator suited to large residential, commercial and industrial swing gates. Its robust hydraulic operation makes it particularly suitable for demanding installations where a single large gate leaf requires reliable and frequent operation.

Installer Note

The BFT P7 is a non-locking hydraulic operator, so an electric lock is required where the gate needs to be securely held in the closed position.

The P7 is designed for particularly large swing gate leaves up to 7m. Gate weight, hinge geometry, structural rigidity and wind loading should be carefully assessed when specifying an operator for gates of this size.

For smaller gate leaves up to 4.5m where the additional stroke of the P7 is not required, consider the BFT P4.5 hydraulic operator.
