BFT Stoppy MBB 700 Automatic Rising Bollard – 700mm, Painted Steel

The BFT Stoppy MBB 700 is a heavy-duty electromechanical rising bollard designed for controlling vehicle access at commercial premises, industrial sites, private developments and restricted entrances.

Featuring a 700mm rising height and 219mm diameter steel shaft, the Stoppy MBB provides a robust solution for managing vehicle entry and exit. Its painted steel finish in RAL 7015 offers a durable appearance suitable for commercial environments.

The bollard incorporates an oil-bath gearmotor designed for intensive operation, supporting up to 1,500 movements per day. Cataphoresis-treated metal components and an EPDM seal integrated into the flange help protect the mechanism in demanding conditions.

The Stoppy MBB 700 features controlled slowdown during raising and lowering, an electric brake and a magnetic position sensor. In the event of a power failure, the bollard is reversible, allowing the shaft to be lowered to restore vehicle access.

Designed for use with a compatible BFT PERSEO control unit, the Stoppy MBB 700 can operate individually or as part of a multiple-bollard access control installation.

Installer Note

This is the standard painted steel version of the BFT Stoppy MBB 700, without the optional illuminated and audible warning cap.

The bollard requires a suitable below-ground concrete foundation, drainage arrangements and a compatible BFT PERSEO control unit.

For installations requiring additional visibility, BFT offers the Stoppy MBB 700 with integrated LED lights and buzzer as a separate version.

The bollard is reversible in the absence of electrical power. Where maintaining vehicle restrictions during a power failure is essential, an alternative fail-secure arrangement should be considered.
