BFT Stoppy MBB 500 Automatic Rising Bollard – Painted Steel

The BFT Stoppy MBB 500 is a heavy-duty electromechanical rising bollard designed to control vehicle access at commercial premises, residential developments, private car parks and restricted entrances.

Featuring a 500mm rising height and 219mm diameter steel shaft, the Stoppy MBB provides a robust solution for managing vehicle entry and exit. Its painted steel finish offers durability for outdoor installations.

The bollard uses an oil-bath electromechanical drive system designed for intensive operation, with controlled movement during raising and lowering. The mechanism incorporates an electric brake and magnetic position sensing.

The Stoppy MBB 500 is suitable for installation as a single bollard or as part of a multiple-bollard vehicle access system, operated through a compatible BFT PERSEO control unit.

Installer Note

The BFT Stoppy MBB 500 requires a suitable below-ground foundation, adequate drainage and a compatible BFT PERSEO control unit.

The bollard can be lowered manually in the absence of electrical power. It should not be described as automatically lowering during a power failure unless the specific configuration supports this function.

For installations requiring additional visibility, check whether an illuminated version with LED lights and an audible warning device is required.
