Raytel K99 Vandal Resistant Surface Mount Keypad

Description

The Raytel K99 is a vandal resistant surface mounted digital keypad for controlling automatic gates, doors and other access control systems. Its rugged zinc alloy housing, brushed stainless steel keypad and IP65 rating make it suitable for external residential and commercial installations.

The K99 can store up to 99 individual user codes, with programmable 4–8 digit codes arranged across two user groups. Two independent output relays are provided and can be configured for timed or latching operation, allowing the keypad to control a main gate or lock output alongside a separate auxiliary function.

Illuminated buttons make the keypad easier to use in low-light conditions, with a tactile number 5 for easier identification. The K99 also provides an egress/request-to-exit input, door monitoring, tamper output and forced-door alarm functionality.

Non-volatile memory retains programmed codes following a power failure, while the 12–24V AC/DC supply gives installers flexibility when integrating the keypad with existing gate automation and access control equipment.

Installer Note

The two independent relay outputs make the K99 useful where more than one access function is required. Relay 1 operates as the primary lock or gate output, while Relay 2 can be configured as an auxiliary output for a second group of users or functions such as an alarm or doorbell.
