CAME DIR10 Safety Photocells – 10m Range

Description

The CAME DIR10 photocells are a pair of infrared safety photocells for automatic gates, barriers and other access control systems, with a maximum operating range of 10 metres.

The transmitter and receiver create an infrared beam across the entrance. If the beam is interrupted by a vehicle, person or other obstruction, the control panel can stop or reverse the automation according to the system configuration.

DIR10 photocells are suitable for surface mounting and can be used with compatible CAME gate and barrier control panels. Their compact design makes them a popular choice for standard swing gate, sliding gate and automatic barrier installations.

For installations where surface mounting is not suitable, CAME also offers mounting posts and accessories for the DIR photocell range.

Installer Note

DIR10 photocells have a maximum range of 10 metres, making them suitable for most standard gate and barrier entrances. Correct alignment between the transmitter and receiver is important, particularly where the photocells are installed on separate posts or where there is movement in the mounting surface.
